November 23, 200223 yr Suggest you go over to the www.rage3d.com forums and ask about the 9700. List your specs and those guys should be able to answer your questions. There are certain hardware combos that cause problems; but most I suspect are do to user error or just plain bad luck. That would be not cleaning up old drivers, various not up to date bios, etc. or a lousy motherboard. Mine runs perfectly with the CD drivers; but everything is new. FS2002 (with default ATC), CFS2, IL2 in OpenGL and just loaded up F1 2002 this morning. They're all maxed out at 1600x1200x32 with everything turned on and all run without a hiccup. Running both MSSWFFB#2 and MSFFB Steering Wheel. Didn't realize what a great racing game F1 2002 was. Just run her with a thunderstorm and heavy rain coming down. Smooth as silk. Especially fun with that steering wheel and pedals. Now if I could just learn how to drive.
