Sure was a little dissapointed to see this come out as payware, that's the last thing the community needs right now. Its not like these helicopters are going to fly off the shelves. I'm also curious if the microsoft bell rotor textures were used in this design...the screenshots look like it, but I can't tell. If they were...that's a payware no..no.

Well, not only that but the screenshot of the Virtual Cockpit shows the default Bell JetRanger panel. They can't sell something that already has a copyright on it, and from Microsoft at that!Check it out:http://www.indigocactus.com/flightsim/airi...cs/407vc1ss.jpg

indeed i too would have preferred to see this released as freeware. that said, i broke down and bought. it is a very nice model (tho not completely accurate, looks a bit like a LongRanger) and flies nicely.honestly, i hadn't thought about the texture copyright issue until you raised it, the vc bitmap does look very familiar.i've been playing around with it in photoshop, heres a shot of it wearing nypd colors.-a

I like that new paint job of the Police. I am not very good at repainting things, or painting things at all. LOL
