Thanks for the link! It looks great. There's also a Cirrus SR20... Ooooh... :D

Here's the Babelfish translation:"Telex 2002 aircraft - Eurocopter EC135 - General German Automobile Association beta version 1,1 - 17,03,2003 version for emergency services with normal landing work and stretcher. The virtual cockpit is not yet completely finished. There is not found a panel. This must be down-loaded by Franz Haiders InterNet side. The sound becomes of the standard Bell entliehen. If someone has sound files for the EC or to provide wants, he/they can announce themselves to me and then they are integrated in the final Setup with. The hecktueren can be opened with [ Shift-E-2 ], but amusing-prove only, after one had loaded another airplane before and the cargo Doors opened there. I do not know yet, that the interior texture lies please yet did not repainten, since it is still changed. Download (785 KB) Downloads: 68" Both informative and amusing.Have Fun!

Well, Babelfish really is helpful sometimes. Sometimes... My english is not the best, but I

Nice Heli, thanks for the info.I read the German forums using freetranslation and found there is a panel and full working VC for it with custom programmed gauges.Follow the link http://www.8ung.at/ghost-avionics/Download the two files Download EC135 FCDS-Panel V0.81 Teil 1 2,9MB Download EC135 FCDS-Panel V0.81 Teil 2 2,9MB Put the entire zip file called ec135_fcds_panel001 into your gauges folder. DO NOT attempt to unzip it.You will need Powerarchiver to unzip ec135_fcds_panel002. Winzip doesnt work - For some reason the author has spanned the zip file. Theres a link to get Powerarchiver on the web page (it's free). Extract ec135_fcds_panel002 using powerarchive, then add the files to your FS directory as follows:"Panel" into the ec135's panel directoryOpen the directory called gauges and place the entire directory called ec135xeq into your gauges folder, along with the three loose gauges. Note also the change needed in the aircraft config. Overwrite the old fuel info. When you enter the cockpit the engines shut down. To start it click the FADEC switches on, then click the yellow switch next to it up one notch. That starts the engine. Then click the yellow switch up another notch and thats flight idle. After that, go flying!Theres some other downloads on that page with the panel, but Im not sure what they elate to. might try em out later.Great heli! Happy landingsLonelyplanetXO.

A bit more info. It has an autopilot & a heap of functionality. Theres a 2d panel, VC and several overheads. Without a manual it's a bit hard to figure out what does what. To get the main PFD's to show you need to hit the master avionics switch on the overhead panel. All in all, this is a very nice machine indeed!

Hi,Do you get an 3rd party error message with one of the Gauges, when loading the aircraft? I do, wondering if it's my installation.CheersAlun

Hi,@LonelyplanetXO:I spanned the file because i've got several errors and time-outs when trying to upload the unspanned one. So I decided to split it.The other downloads on the page are mainly for our VA. There is a MovingMap (working only when you are in Austria) and some updates for my previous panels.BTW Why did you leave the backup horizon caged? :-)@Airprox:I heard from others which have the same problem. These gauges aren't really important, except the radio gauge. Simply ignore that until i release the next version.regards,Franz

Hey Franz,Thank you - fantastic work! Why leave the backup horizon caged? Well, there's no manual so I'm really just pushing buttons to see what does what. When I find it, I'll bring it up :-)Same applies to the autopilot, but daresay I'll figure it out in time. I also want to have a play with the FD at some stage as the engine management gauges go wayyy into the red whenever I try & get any speed (over 80kias) out of it. Not sure how to do that but I'll back up the default one & have a fiddle!Anyways, thanks again. I can see a lot of work has gone into this model/panel and it looks great! All the bestLonelyplanetXO

Hi,I'll write a manual after finishing the panel. If you have questions simply write them up here. The FD aren't very realistic yet. But I'll try to drive to germany and meet the EC135 pilot who gives me the informations about the panel. Then we will try to optimize the flight model...regards,Franz

Greetings Franz, great designs, they are beautiful! I can only imagine the work that went in to them!I do have one concern though, and if it's not a big deal to you, I understand, but I felt I should point it out anyway. It is in the scale of the model, it seems quite large compared to the FS world. I compare all my scenery design to the scale of the default bell and when I landed at a scenery site I was surprized at the size compared to what I had designed. I have some heli AI and here is a comparison pic for reference. again, thanks for your hard work, great helo!Regards, Michaelhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpg

Hy!>It is in the scale of the model, it seems quite large >compared to the FS world. Here are the specificatons of the "real" EC-135 and the "real" Bell 206, just for comparison:EC-135:Length cabin: 19.4 ftLength Nose-Tail: 33.5 ftLength overall: 39.9 ftHeight: 11.5 ftWidth Tail: 8.7 ftWidth Cabin: 5.1 ftBell 206:Length cabin: about 12 ftLength Nose-Tail: 31 ft 3.5"Length overall: 39 ft 2.5"Height: 11 ft 7.5"Width Skid: 8 ftSo, both realworld-helicopter are nearly the same size... Maybe Franz has an explanation for this FS behaviour.Greetings,Danny(from Germany)-- DEVICE=C:DOSCAT.SYS ...the worlds fastest mousedriver!

I could be wrong here, but I think Franz is just working on the panel, the actual EC135 models are by someone else, possibly the chap whos website is hosting the downloads.Michael.... How is the helicopter AI going? I've read with interest your previous posts, and I'd be very interested to know the deatails of what you've got now. eg, air files, GMAX or not GMAX etc.CheersAlun

You

hey guys, thanks so much for that info Danny, I have been searching for something like, that since I have never seen an EC135 up close, been in a few Bells, but I wanted to know if it is just me. i know Jordan had the same problem with his initial release of the Huey and I wrote him abou it, sure enough when he released his next versions they were much closer to scale. I believe it is a matter of the scaling in the design tool and how the output is. I know with macro design you can adjust the scale from within before you output. the only reason I even bring it up is these are wonderful machines and it would be a shame as they are so incredible!Alun, yeah, the AI is going well, considering. I have gotten to a point where I am going to leave it as is, since I have tried so many variations of airfiles, contact points, models etc. the way I have it now is an AI heli folder with a modified cessna 140 airfile and CFG (that seems to work the best from the 50 or so I have tried) using the jetranger MDL, contact points and textures. I am able to get them to taxi, (which doesn't look to bad) take off like a stol aircraft, fly and attempt to land! they are successful 70% of the time on the landing. I look at it this way, they look great as statics and when they are flying, so I haven't tried to do more with them. I have found that if I want some, all I do is make a copy of my AI helo folder, add the new MDL, contact points and textures and rename it and instant Heli AI (as you can tell from the pics) the jetranger works very well as far as display and FPS hit, the AS 365 also, the Hueys in the pic look great, but are framerate hogs! several others look good except the rotors or other animation don't show, which doesn't work for me. generally, if it is a GMAX model it will display properly.
