Hi, Does anyone know what callsign Easy Jet England uses for Radio Transmissions?Been meaning to fly some flights out of Luton on Vatsim for a while now and wasn't sure what callsign they use to talk to ATC?And the written callsign component is "EZY-123" Yes?

The use the callsign "Easy". Simple huh? ;-) EZY is also correct.

Officially, the ICAO database shows it as "Easy", not "EasyJet". Is the callsign for EasyJet Switserland the same as for EasyJet UK? Because the airline codes differ from each other. EasyJet UK is EZY and EasyJet Switserland is EZS.Regards,Jasper :-wave

The ICAO has the airline for EZS/TOPSWISS as "TEA BASEL AG" (that names just sounds funny :-lol). Is ICAO that out of date or something ? Well, GO is a done deal. Deutsche BA is not concluded yet.

The deal with "go-fly" was only completed at the beginning of August.The deal with Deutsche BA has also been concluded, although has to be agreed is the amount paid, which will be determined by June 2003. The airline is undergoing modelling changes, transforming it into a low-cost carrier separate from BA. easyJet management are already in place. Expect to see a formal announcement in early 2003.
