July 12, 200322 yr http://www.danur.com/FOCmain.htmI see this was released yesterday. I'm just reading the manual now. Does anyone have it, and how is it? Quite expensive @ 50 euros, but if it does what is claims to it's well worth it considering the price of the "real" software! Regards,Graham
July 15, 200322 yr Expensive @ 50 Euros?? You must be joking, this stuff took 5 years to complete! That's 10 Euros a year! It's magic is what it is.I don't know about anyone else, but I'm deffinately making a purchase!Cheers[br][/img]
July 15, 200322 yr hello guy,a real software planner is around 1000 usd and you get weather infos for that pricei ve already bought it and i ll look inside later and tell you what s up but without surprise a real great tool and i use some others pro planners so i can tell soem wordsphilps and you have etops or erops ask jeppesen to implement it for flitestar and you ll see ???!!!!
July 15, 200322 yr Exactly filfpg! No offence to the team who created this superb program, but i thikn the website and lack of advertising has held it back! GUYS, THIS IS AWESOME and a MUST!Cheers[br][/img]
July 15, 200322 yr You're right, it isn't expensive. I said that before I had read the manual. However, I don't think it supports FAR 121 operations, only JAR-OPS. Is this correct?Cheers,Graham
July 16, 200322 yr hello graham, you re correct about not far 121 but i think it s coming latter as some real us dispatchers are helping the team...ps i ve your answer and sending this night with a file ???!!!see youphil
July 16, 200322 yr Sure. My main email is currently down. Maybe you could try . Thanks. :-)Graham
July 18, 200322 yr Thanks for the link.looks like what I need, and money well spent if it's as good as promised. If you you have installed could you give us a small review on what it's like I would be most greatfull.many thanks, dinger.
July 18, 200322 yr Hello all,FOC seems like very good program, and I will probably buy it after I read some reviews. I hope that all of them are going to be very positive. :-)But, I have two questions, which I can not find answer in their web-page nor in the manual. Maybe I am not looking hard enough.Firstly, are they going to provide us with up-dated AIRAC cycles? Secondly, do I need to own charts or all airways, waypoints, ndbs, vors.... are included within the program? If anyone could answer to my questions, that would be great! I appreciate any answer! Thanks,Andrej Lippay
July 18, 200322 yr "ps i ve your answer and sending this night with a file ???!!!"Hi Phil,If you sent me any email, I didn't receive it.Regards,Graham
July 18, 200322 yr hello graham, just sent a little problem with my isp but now everything is okgood readingphil
July 18, 200322 yr hello andrej, first about update i cannot answer for now...for the maps you dont need them but as for any planner charts are better to view some infos anyway you can see all infos navaids on the computer...
July 19, 200322 yr just got it, and will need a days p&q to read the bumf then try to see if I can get my head around it.One or two points (this could be me jumping in the deep-end thought} the aircraft file is to say the least not well covered. I would of liked a few more work horses in the list. No 737. 757. 767. or dash!!!! for the cost of this you would think that these were standard. I see for you scare bus jockeys you have the cover. There are some good bits you can have your name put into to the F/P. So Capt Fly by night this is your F/p (don't get that in the R/W)or the Desp name either! Will inform on the whats what! Get the real life DPs to go over a full release and see how it stands against a R/W F/P. YOU ON Night Shift. TOCART.
July 19, 200322 yr hello tocart, for the boeing line standard... in fact you can feed the datas and create aircraft you wish....so certainly some users will help...the weather datas honestly are very interesting now if you want to compare FOC20003 to real flightplanner i prefer compare it to business planner like flite pro from jeppesen...as i said before you can have erops and rdd or rif as you prefer i dont have jeppensen but i asked their customers to get these options and no way so...see youphil
July 19, 200322 yr Dear Phil, thank you for your answer. I hope that the AIRAC cycles will be up-dated. You know, just make it more realistic. :-)Best regards,Andrej Lippay
