Hi, can anyone tell me where can I get real world flight plans for any flights in the US being operated by the 777-200? I'd also like osme flight plans for KIAD-KDEN and also any flight plans for international flights leaving Brazil. If anyone is interested in an original B777 plan from EHAM to LFPG and LFPG to SBGR let me know. (last time I was went flying in the flight deck with my uncle he let me keep all the paperwork that gets to be trashed in the end of the flight)

I flew in a UA B772 a few years ago KIAD-KDEN. I can give you the arrival route (which began as far away as KSTL, which we over-flew) when I get home from work.Bruce.

Thanks a lot Bruce. I tried to figure out what the STAR would be for that particular route, and came up with the Dandd Four Arrival, Goodland transition. Would that be right? What complivates matters is that for that approach pilots are given vector-to-final and thus I have to sort create my approach. Thanks for the attention

Hi,The STAR was the QUAIL THREE arrival. As I recall we joined it at Lamar (LAA), but I could be wrong. KIAD and KDEN are both close to the 40th parallel, so the straight line is pretty much due west. But over KSTL we headed almost SW to LAA (or similar place), then a 90 degree turn on the STAR to the NW.We were cleared for a 35R arrival, hence the use of this STAR to position us south of the airport. However, DEN had a big summertime thunderstorm overhead that day, and the ATIS was updated almost every minute, or at least the required calls from Tower whenever the winds changed. We then were re-cleared for a 17L arrival, so commenced our downwind to the other end of the 12,000' runway- but half way down were re-cleared for a 26 arrival; a hard left turn and recover from overshoot to the extended 26 runway. Now, that's vectoring. The captain warned us of a hard landing, and windshear alerts were constantly being broadcast on the tower frequency. We sure did a carrier landing! A company B737 (woman pilot voice) mentioned she was diverting, but them changed her mind and followed us in- you could hear the fear in her voice. All this was on Ch 8 or 9, not sure which was used then (3 years ago now).Bruce.

Hey guys, sorry for not answering for a long while. Being an intern at a public hospital in Rio de Janeiro has its drawbacks (such as no time for hobbies or pleasant net talk!) But anyway, thanks to you both for the attention. Bruce, that must've been one hell of a ride to KDEN. I remeber a bumpy ride into Aspen some three years ago, but back then I didn't really understand anything about flying (not that I do nowadays...)Koen, as you know the paperwork's quite extensive, and I kept a hard copy so I'll have to retype the whole thing (that is if you want the fuel sheet so and so forth) As for just the route, here it is:Route for Varig PP-VRA (B777-200ER)Flight 8720 from Charles de Gaulleto SchipholLFPG NURM9A NURMO UN874 VEKIN UN873 FERDI UG110 DENUT DENUT EHAMSome quick info for this flight: Varig uses Cost Index 180, filed FL was 240, and on the FMC flight number input is VRG8720Now the flight plan from EHAM to LFPGEHAM LEKO1S LEKKO UB31 WOODY UN872 UZ319 MOPIL MOPI4W LFPGAgain, the filed FL was 240, flight number RG8721The second part of this route is from Paris to S

Hi,Thanks for posting the routes! It doesn't sound amateur-ish at all. :)I've one question though: you said that the filed altitude for VRG8721 was FL240. That's quite strange actually, because it should be an odd, and not even, altitude for that route. So FL230 would be more likely.>>>> Koen, Are you an ATP for United? >>No, I'm not. In fact I'm just an 18-year old student living very close (less than 2 miles) to Amsterdam Airport in The Netherlands, who is extremely interested in what you can call the operational part of aviation. I've been working several times at the flight operations department of a Dutch airline as a holdiday job. That's where I've learnt much about planning routes, fuel calculations etc. Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg

hello victor,im really interested in weight and datas on this flight ?no way to get a scan of the stuff ???truly yoursphil

Hi Victor,If you have some time in Denver, give me a call. If over a weekend, it may be possible to go flying together.Send me a PM here at AVSIM for my phone number, if you're interested.Although if going skiing, you'll be over the western side of the Rockies (Denver is on the eastern (dry) side).Bruce.

Reply Combo to Koen Phil and Bruce:Koen, I also found it strange when I noticed we'd be flying at FL240, not so much because it was an even FL, but because there was room upstairs and enough distance to cruise at FL310 or above and thus make the route more economic. However, while I was programming the FMC with the copilot prior to pushback (that's right, my uncle let me do all that stuff although he redid it all afterwards!), the captain (aka uncle) explained to me that due to heavy air traffic in Europe we'd have to fly at that altitude. And that was that. By the way, Amsterdam is beautiful. CheersPhil I'll scan the weight and fuel sheet part of the flight plan I kept and try to have it done to send you by monday @ 2100 GMT. I think the best way of sending it to you is over MSN messenger (my icq file trasfer thing isn't working) send me a PM with your email and we'll talk over msn. Bruce, thank you so much for the invite, I couldn't possibly thank you enough. However, I'll only be in Denver for a couple of hours switching planes, so unless my dad lets me borrow the car we rent and I drive all the way from Aspen to Denver I don't think I'll be able to make it. Unless of course, you were willing to pick me up at KASE. Say around 4 PM. Just kidding. but thank you again. I'll send you that PM anyway and we'll see what can be done. However, please notice I'm not even a private pilot. You'd be doing the flying and I'd be just making all sorts of annoying flying questions... :)You guys enjoy a nice sunday evenning, and now, off to the hospital...

Hi,Thanks for the reply!Your uncle is correct to say that you can't fly above FL240 from Amsterdam to Paris due to air traffic control regulations, caused by the heavy use of airspace above that altitude. These restrictions in Europe between specific airports are known as "city-pair level cappings" by flight planners and can be found here for the coming month: http://www.cfmu.eurocontrol.be/rad/25dec/levelcapping.pdf (for those who are interested).Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg

Hi Victor,Maybe next time you're here in DEN. And enjoy Aspen too, it's great there. If you want to see some difficult approaches, go see what they do as KASE!Bruce.
