October 16, 200421 yr I'm trying to figure out how to fly this arrival according to the chart. Since my planned flightlevel is above 250 I should enter the LOGAN intersection via the UM604 airway. Here's my problem. I start off from EFHK and fly from RUNEN via UN872 to Eel VOR. How do I get on to the UM604 airway from there?I need this for the Heathrow fly-in tomorrow and I just don't know how to get onto the airway...please help.

October 17, 200421 yr Thank you very much. Just a quick question. What are these NO428F300 and the others? Plus I thought I had to join the LOGAN intersection via UM206 if I planned to fly higher than 250?
October 17, 200421 yr I think I read the chart wrong...I don't have to come via UM604. My other question still stands though. :)
October 17, 200421 yr Looks like it. There are some variable factors in the Airway routes that could be in effect - Airway only available at a particular FL for that direction of traffic, volume of traffic etc.
October 18, 200421 yr The reality would be probably be different though, with the a/c likely to maintain its cruising level until given descent at the calculated TOD point.
October 18, 200421 yr Agreed, those are "requested" altitude changes.ATC permission is still required to change altitude, and ATC can just as easily amend the flightplan enroute for any other altitudes they want.
