Request Aloha and Island Air

Featured Replies

I'm looking for current Aloha Air plans for inter-island flights. Interested in both the 732 flights and the Dash-8 flights operated by Island Air.I found the 732 flights posted back in '03 on this forum, but would like to newer ones if they have changed. Thanks in advanceBrad2 miles from KELP/KBIFBrad2 miles from KELP/KBIFhttp://home.elp.rr.com/bmbanister/signature%20tag.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

Do you know if they still fly around Hawaii, and what their ICAO code is?Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg

Thanks Koen,I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out. Island Air still flies a lot of the Aloha inter island routes using Dash-8 100s. Their ICAO is MKU; callsign Moku. However, I've also seen them listed as Aloha island Air with an ICAO of PRI.Brad2 miles from KELP/KBIFhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

Koen,I did some research when I could not find any Island Air flight plans, either.IATA: WPICAO: MKUCallsign is MokuThe official name is Hawaii Island Air, Inc., doing business as Island Air. They are an independent commuter airline owned by Gavarnie Holding, LLC., serving interisland flights in Hawaii.Originally started in 1980 as Princeville Airways to fly Princeville Resort guests between Kauai and Honolulu, the airline was acquired by Aloha Air Group in 1987 and renamed to Island Air. Gavarnie Holding purchased the airline in 2004.Aloha Air group converted the fleet from Twin Otters to 8 DH8A, and this month, Gavarnie is leasing an additional 2 DH8D Q400s.Flightaware shows the airline as "Island Air Honolulu, Hi)", but no flights and no plans. My other flight plan sources don't even indicate that DH8's fly between the islands. It's almost as of the flights are blocked. Very strange indeed! The Island Air website is active and indicates a current schedule. Since there is a code share arrangement with Aloha Airlines, I've search for AAH code shares and still came up empty.Bruce

Bruce,Thanks for the effort. I guess you can see why I was asking for help here on the forum. :) I found there flight schedules easy enough when I was building up an AI package for them, but when I went to look for flight plans to fly it was as if they didn't exist.
