Hi EveryoneHere's the plan that I just found randomly:(FPL-CLX750-IS-B744/H-SHIDRWYX/S-EDDV0600-N0493F320 DCT LAU DCT WRB/N0490F330 UN850 ABUKA UZ738LAMGO UL607 ALGOI UM738 TUNEX/N0488F340 UM738 CBN UG727ELJEM/N0494F330 UG727 JBA UM731 ONLET/N0494F370 UM731 BT UA403BZ/N0489F390 DCT BUDEL UA611 VNA/N0494F370 UR987 ANVAG R987FWHV W89F UPV DCT-FAUP1023 FABL-EET/DTTC0211 FTTT0406 FCCC0719 FNAN0731 FYWH0856 FABL1010REG/LXFCV SEL/CSKL OPR/CARGOLUXRMK/TCAS EQUIPPED)My question is on the second line what does the 'H-SHIDRWYX/S'part mean?

Hi Patrick,H is the wake turbulence category, depending on the aircraft's maximum certified take-off mass:- Aircraft with a MTOM of 7000 kg or less will be designated L for "light";- Aircraft with a MTOM of 136000 kg or more will be designated H for "heavy" (like a B744);- All other aircraft will be designated M for "medium".SHIDRWYX is the radio/navigation equipment on board. Actually it's good practice to sort these letters, except for the S at the beginning (i.e. SDHIRWXY), but some flight planning systems don't seem to be capable of doing so. ;) Anyway, S stands for standard equipment (VHF RTF, ADF, VOR & ILS), and you'll be able to find the rest here: http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/flightplans/NavEqpt.txtFinally, the S at the end indicates the surveillance equipment carried, which is a "mode S transponder including both pressure-altitude and aircraft identification transmission". :)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg

Koen would this plan work?(FPL-CPA002-IS-B744/H-SHIJRWXYZ/S-EBBR1355-N0500F330 SPI1D SPI UL607 AMASI UM149 BOMBI UL984 SULUS UZ650 LITKU UL620 NARKA UB499 REBLA UL601 CND UL851 ADINA UL851 LAGIR UL851 KUGOS UT33 CRM UT34 RENGI UT36 ALRAM G208 UMH UL223 LAM G666 DESDI -OMDB0625 OMSJ(I haven't put in altitude changes yet)

Hi Patrick,You're able to validate your flightplans from, to, within and through European airspace here: http://www.cfmu.eurocontrol.be/chmi_public...jsp?serv1=ifpuvIf you copy/paste your plan there, you'll get back two errors:-ERROR EFPM: C_EQPT HAS Z BUT NEITHER NAV OR COM IS PRESENT (C_EQPT)-ERROR EFPM: C_EQPT HAS J BUT NO DAT IS PRESENT (C_EQPT)You can solve these by removing J and Z from the navigation equipment, or adding something like "-DAT/SV NAV/RNP4" at the end of the ATS flightplan...If you validate your flightplan again, you'll now get this error:-ERROR ROUTE: INVALID EUR RVSM AIRSPACE ENTRY/EXIT CONDITIONThis is because you'll have to file a speed/altitude "change" at ALRAM, where you're exiting European RVSM airspace (even if it's useless, e.g. when you're not climbing or changing speed). If you've done so, you'll now get two errors concerning the route itself:-ERROR PROF: RS: ON FORBIDDEN ROUTE:EBBR REF:EB APPENDIX 5;EBBR SID SPI UNIT:EBBR6004A BETWEEN:EBBR OMDB-ERROR PROF: RS: OFF MANDATORY ROUTE AT:SPI UL607 AMASI LEVELS:F245..F999 REF:UL607 SPI AMASI 1. UNIT:EB 2017A BETWEEN:EBBR OMDBThe first error gives a reference to the Route Availability Document for Belgium (EB RAD, Appendix 5), which you'll find here: http://www.cfmu.eurocontrol.be/rad/22dec/sidstar.pdfIf you take a look at restriction EBBR6004, then it says that SPI SIDs are not availabe for traffic routing via AMASI, which is in your flightplan. So now you can either choose to change your routing, or choose another SID. Because the last option is easier, lets try a LNO SID, which has about the same route as a SPI SID. After a while you'll find out that doesn't work either, and that a SOPOK departure is what you're looking for. This also resolves the second error, which said you were not allowed to fly SPI-AMASI.If you stick to routing via AMASI, you'll get this route: SOPOK UY863 ETENO Y863 VIBOM UN858 AMASI UM149 BOMBI etc.But actually it will be shorter now to plan: SOPOK UY863 ETENO Y863 RUDUS UL984 SULUS UZ650 LITKU etc.Hope this helps... :)Cheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
