hi there, could anyone tell me how i can insert parts like "54N020W" like marked below into the fmc routes? when i try to enter them as the next waypoint, the fmc says "invalid entry" or "not in database". i`m using the pmdg 747 with the actual nav-database and everything else works fine, but i don`t know how to enter single positions or to create a fix for them. i haven`t found anything about it in the manual, so please give me a hint how to programm this, bea

With the 747-400 FMC this should also work (Raw Co-ordinate entering)N54W020This will work, although in the case of North Atlantic RoutesN54W020 should be entered as 5420Nbut in the case of the north and south pacific flex tracks the 'waypoint style' 5 letter co-ord won't work and you will need to use theNxxExxxalways North or South followed by 2 numbersEast or West followed by 3 numbers. For your information, it is also in the PMDG manual #12 which you can find by, on the windows XP desktop, hittingStart > Programs > PMDG Simulations > PMDG 747-400 Operating Manual and selecting the file "12 FMC Users Guide"there are a number of other good tricks in there about using place/bearing/distance waypoints, and so on.
