March 2, 200719 yr Since most of the flight plans that are shared in this forum only specify the airport identifiers, you have to be familiar with the identifiers to know if you may be interested in that plan. It would be very useful if the name of the associated city and/or world location would also be included.I know it's fairly easy to 'translate' the identifier and find the associated city, but why not add it to the post since you already know that information when you post your plans. Just a friendly suggestion :)
March 2, 200719 yr Hi Maurice,I'd be interested to hear what others on the forum think of this. My opinion is that the 4 letter identifier is the way to go as all real world plans are filed using these codes. Do you really want the people who provide us with flightplans to have to convert the codes on every plan so that those of us looking for plans don't have to perform a simple search for the code?Well, that's my 2 cents anyway.Regards,Bob.
