Decoding weather

Featured Replies

Hi there - Will there be a way to have the weather "decoded" for easy reading, like FSMeteo does, or am I going to have to learn to read all that again? :)Thanks,Mikecyul

Hi Mike,Like in real life, all the default flight planning and weather information reports will be CODED. You'll have to learn how to read this again :) This is by design for maximum realism and educational value. Documentation will provide decoding information.Still, you can get your ActiveSky wxRE weather "decoded" several ways. #1) Listen to ATIS in FS#2) If you have RCv3, get a weather update#3) Read the runtime status screen after a METAR is processed although this will not always match the exact METAR for some values (as it is dynamic).-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxresmallbanner.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table
