December 14, 200223 yr Hi,anyone using RC3 and ActiveSky together ? As RC3 is refreshing its menu in AdvDisplay constantly, I am not able to see any FlightWatch radio messages as they disappear right away. Any ideas ?Thanks,Dirk
December 14, 200223 yr Commercial Member Hi Dirk,Because RC3 uses the same facility as wxRE for messages (via ADVDISP but still the same FS message text), there is nothing we can do at the moment. RC3 takes over all messaging functions (I do notice that I can read the text but yes you must be quick!). I suggest using the RC3 weather update/atis features which AS wxRE is fully compatible with and you will get your weather via voice! We are also working on our own internal voice weather updates... Hope that helps!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxresmallbanner.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies

Yep, noticed that too ... ;)>I suggest using the RC3 >weather update/atis features which AS wxRE is fully >compatible with and you will get your weather via voice! I know, but a nice feature of FlightWatch radio is that you can monitor the weather at your arrival airport no matter how far away you are. You dont get that with the RC3 voice weather report ...>We >are also working on our own internal voice weather >updates... Hope that helps! Thanks, really looking forward to this...Anyway, ActiveSky is awesome, I love it ... :)Dirk
