Can I order Active Sky then get my money back and uninstall it if I don't like it? Reason being's that I already have FS Meteo, and if for me it isn't worth it then I don't want to be stuck with it.Thanks a lot

Hello,Sorry, but there is no way to verify you are uninstalling the software (not that I don't trust you, it's just standard policy) and I cannot give refunds due to lack of satisfaction with the product - due to again the risk of piracy and fraud (refund but keep the software and use it anyways). There are many sources of info available on it (forum posts, the documentation, etc.) that should help you make a buying decision. I'm sure there will be some official reviews out soon too... Why don't ya hold off a a few weeks and I'm sure you'll have a much better idea?-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table

Sounds good, thanks for the advice.

One thing you might try Stratus is to download their freeware ActiveSky 1.5 and try it. I used to use FSMETEO all the time for weather, but after I tried ActiveSky, I haven't used FSMETEO since. I like how it handles the weather, specifically the clouds and cloud layers. Also, visibility seems to be much more accurate. Download it and give it a try. You should get a pretty good idea of what to expect, and from what I hear, ActiveSky wxRE is 10 times better, so if you like the freeware ActiveSky, then you'd probably like wxRE even better.Regards,Jim

I found Activesky OK, seemed to be just as good as FSMeteo. You're going to have to impress me if you want me to buy it. :-) ;-)

The option of purchase is entirely the decision of the customer.Believe me, you wont be disappointed with ActiveSky wxRE.Go with Damians advice, wait for some reviews, talk to your mates, watch the forums then make a decision. For me, I was impressed (more than inmpressed) with the freeware version, then I had the opportunity to beta test wxRE, now I have wxRE on my system, permanent. Some people like diamonds, some people don't..........I LOVE DIAMONDS!!!!cheers,David
