December 21, 200223 yr Damian, first off great program, am really glad I made the invesment.Only thing iv'e found thats bugged me is I took off from Schiphol earlier in a thick overcast, almost zero vis. This was with me all the way up to about 27000ft, and then it totally disappeared. I could see everything around and below me. Is that normal. ?http://freespace.virgin.net/philip.jeff/BAVBanner.gif
December 21, 200223 yr Commercial Member Hi Phil,A certain version of ADVDISP has been known to cause this problem (due to FSUIPC communications issues), if you are using ADVDISP and/or RC3 you can try upgrading this (www.schiratti.com/dowson.html). There was also another problem found with certain TAF reports that could cause this, fixed and ready for the new build..Thanks!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies

December 21, 200223 yr PSJust as an afterthought. I don't have an always on internet connection, and if Activesky is set for online mode when I start it up, and not connected to the net, it crashes out with a runtime error.Actually it doesn't even start, it just shows an error box.
