I keep getting an error. "runtime error 2147417848 Automation Error"This error pops up after several minutes after starting active sky. I installed vbrun6 and still got the error.Yes, I rebooted.This pc is a fresh win98 se box. I built it specifically for Active weather and Radar contact.

Hi,You mentioned you installed 'vbrun6' Can you confirm that you installed the entire Visual Basic 6 runtime redistribution pack? The OLE Automation DLL (called OLE2AUT.DLL I believe) is the one you need to make sure you have updated to avoid the error.If this is not the case, we will have to troubleshoot further. I have not yet heard of this problem after running the VB6 runtime setup, so perhaps something different is happening here? Can you tell me when exactly the error occurs? Can you issolate it to ONLINE or OFFLINE use, or during specific updates (METAR or WINDS ALOFT)? Any information you can share to help me troublehoot would help.
