January 16, 200323 yr Hi all. When I load Activesky wxRE my instant replay is limited to about 2 minutes. Any help would be appreciated.
January 16, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi, perhaps your available memory is low, you can try closing other programs you don't need. Does this help?-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
January 16, 200323 yr I don't think so. I have 1 gig of RAM and I already tried closing all progams with end-it-all but it did not work. Any other suggestions?
January 16, 200323 yr Oh yes.. and I also tried closing programs with TASK MANAGER. I show about 550 meg of RAM available on my Free mem pro. after I have loaded my FS2002.
January 17, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hmm,Which clouds are you using?Anyone else experience this problem? -Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
January 17, 200323 yr I am using FS Sky World Puffy cloud set 3... I think. Do you think that could be a problem. It worked OK before.
January 18, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi,What may be happening is wxRE is setting multiple cloud layers of a very resource-intensive cloud set that you have installed there. It wouldn't matter what set the weather (you could do it manually) - so it is not really a wxRE problem. I would suggest trying a different set, perhaps trying the default and working up from there until you get a good balance of memory available and cloud detail. You may also want to reduce your cloud density slider which should free up some more resources. Let me know how that works.. Thanks!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
January 20, 200323 yr Hi Damian. It seems that FS Real Time was the problem. Removed it and all runs just fine.
