January 19, 200323 yr Hello Damian,Over here in a new block we do not have an ADSL connection. We allready have glass fiber for the future , but that does not work with ADSL.When having set wxRX and then push Auto-Download immediately there is an error message that says : Error or time-out downloading cycles. This is the first time I have started to use the programm ( also it is 1.1 ).My intention is to download the files and then fly offline. The programm looks good , now to get it work.Best regards,Gerard SaldenBeta Tester Wideview
January 19, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Gerard,Are you behind a proxy server? If so, entering the address in the options menu will solve the problem.Another possibility is that your firewall software / hardware is blocking activesky wxRE. Might watch to check that.Let me know if this helps at all! Thanks..-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
January 19, 200323 yr Hello Damian,I finally solved it.You were right.Recently I reinstalled XP . In Norton Internet Security I disabled the Firewall , but Widnows itself has one automatically.I had forgotten about that.Perhaps lots of others users have the same problem. When disableing that one, the download began immediately.I did not have the time for trying in FS , but multiple files where downloaded. One thing I remarked and that was that when putting in LIRF ( Rome ) as my destination the programm said that it did not know that ID.Best regards,Gerard
