Hi, thanks for the heads up!It is legit, and it enables full Australian METAR and FD station reporting within ActiveSky. Australian users now have more complete weather with wxRE! Thanks to Stephen Melis for creating this.-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table

Thanks Damian for the confirmation and a big thankyou to Stephen Melis for keeping our 'down under' pilot buddies up to speed.

It's been my pleasure to build and make available ActiveSky Australia, the "ActiveSky wxRE" Australian addon.I am an active real world pilot, with programming skills, and I think ActiveSky wxRE is great.I was sceptical about wxRE's features at first and then thought I'd give it a try. So after purchasing and downloading wxRE 1.0 I was just blown away, to the point where it was getting real....But I'm an Australian pilot and I fly in Australia and I use FS2k2 for my training in Australia, but alas the weather available for Australia on the US weather sites is not for Australia. Hence I decided to build upon ActiveSky wxRE by feeding wxRE the Australian METARS, TAFs and Area winds to use in the wxRE offline mode. Anyway, more information can be found in the readme.txt file in the download.Enjoy,Stephen Melis

Hi STephen,Many thanks for providing this add-on for us Aussie pilots !
