January 28, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Stefan,There are no current plans for different language versions, but if more demand is shown I will consider it! This is the first request I've had... any other German users feel this is a good thing to invest time into? As stated, wxRE is compatible with world-wide METARs including Germany.-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
January 28, 200323 yr Hi Damian, many thanks for your reply.Of course I mean a "translated version in german" as well.I heard so many positive things related these programm that's why my question to you. I would be very interested on a german version of Activesky wxRePlease keep me informed about further developments...With my best regardsStefan
January 30, 200323 yr This poses an interesting question...Does the developer simply change the user interface and the documentation to a different language or is more expected? For example:Would support have to be in the same language?Would all system settings have to conform to that language? If so, would this introduce problems with program functionality? Is the developer obligated to release all new versions in all languages at the same time? If not, how is the release schedule determined? By the number of users in each language?I'm sure there are other considerations.Bruce
