Damian,Would you please try the following metar at KMLU.KMLU 302153Z 04004KT 6SM BR OVC009 04/02 A3027The overcast layer never develops for me. I get the visibility reduction as expected. Winds and temperatures are fine, but NO OVERCAST, in fact no clouds at all. The status window is showing an overcast layer, but no clouds ever appear.I am running version 1.15.Thanks.

Hello!I tried this, got 900AGL OVC layer...Hmmm, ADVDISP 1.97 (faulty version) has been know to cause this kind of problem.. just want to cover that base first.. make sure you have the latest 1.97 if you use it (www.schiratti.com/dowson.html). Another possibility is an elevation error in the ICAO database. Yet another is that there is a conflict with previous weather prior to loading ASwxRE (in which clearing wx then restarting wxRE will cure).I could use a screenshot of both the main and status screens (after approx 2 mins from intial wx download) if the above does not help. Please send to [email protected], I'll see if I can find out what is going on here..
