February 1, 200323 yr Hi Damian,First many thanks for ActiveSky wxRE, especialy latest version which now allows FSFlightMax radar to function.I am a long time user of FS Meteo but ActiveSky is replacing it, certainly for off line flying. I still use Meteo for vatsim flying because it gets Eurpoean winds aloft so I look forward to using ActiveSky more when you incorporate European winds aloft. Now to a suggestion, and I have no idea if it is feasible or practical.Would it be possible to have a feature that would calculate en-route head/tail winds to be input into a fuel planner? In FS Meteo you can import a FS flight plan and Meteo will give you winds aloft at the reporting stations en-route and with some lengthy calculations you can estimate the head/tail winds for the whole route.Something similar in ActiveSky would be good, but even better if something could be devised which would produce a head/tail wind value for the whole route. As I said I have no idea if it is possible or practical, I only know that it does happen in rw planning, but there again they don't use $60 flight sim packages :-lol And I will understand if it is a none starter.Rgds
