Featured Replies

Hi, had a wind problem lately in a 777 on a flight from KORD - MYNNWind transitions were nice and the weather also except that on approach to Nassau I still got the winds aloft instead of the expected ground winds. 97knt from 10 o'clock from an Alt of 25000 to Airport height ( some feet above ground )Otherwise, despite some instability on shutdown in XP proa fine product, so far.[p]You can visit Maddys Flightsimulator Multiplayer Tours at
Maddy's Tour Pages]
[/p]Athlon 1GhzAsus K7VT512MB SDRAM PC133GF3 Ti200 (nv29.42)SB-LivePlatinumWin98SE / Suse Linux 7.2DSL Connection 768kb/s down / 128kb/s upFS2002pro only currently [/font

Hi Dirk,The winds stayed at 97kt all the way to the ground? If so, this really sounds like the ADVDISP problem. Are you using ADVDISP? If so, go to www.schiratti.com/dowson.html , download the 1.97 (even if you already have 1.97, there is a later 1.97!) and install.. Let me know if this clears it up.. If this does not apply, try the latest FSUIPC 2.96 (just released) and confirm you are using destination/custom force to keep things consistent during approach. Let me know if this helps at all!Thanks..-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table
