Is there an intermittent connection mode?

Hi, Although I have a 56K modem with excellent response from my ISP I have only one telephone line. Thus my question: Does Active Sky have an option, beside the two mentioned in the ActiveSky manual, to allow updating the weather periodically such as FSMeteo? Thank You

Hi, it does not have this built in (I am working on it though). Currently you will have to hit the auto-download button to get new weather (and let it auto-dial then disconnect).-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table

Never used FSMeteo, but will give this a shot. Uncheck Update METAR On New Station and Update FD On New Station. Then adjust the METAR Update Interval and FD/Export Update Interval to a time of your liking.ORRun in a modified Offline Mode:D'load a METAR in Online Mode and change to Offline Mode.

Hello Damian, Thanks for I will try the method you mentioned. Might do fine.Regards
