FSFlightmax not updating with Activesky (Damian?)

Featured Replies

Hi,I have a problem concerning integration of ActiveSky 1.15 (offline mode) with FsFlightmax (1.4 pr1); I have already posted in the FsFlightmax forum. It seems that FsFlightmax loads the weather situation (I guess from the file wx-export.met) just at the beginning and in the area around the airport, then no more updates, at least as to the weather returns.I did this test: I took off from an airport with rain and I got lots of returns in that area. I then flew to a clear zone and all returns disappeared. I then went to a new rainy area and no more returns appeared on my screen. The only way to have the returns concerning that area was by going to the FS weather menu and clicking OK.I also tried to push the 'Refresh' button on Activesky main screen: I noticed that the wx-export.met file got updated, but nothing happened on Fmax. All my settings have been checked several times and are correct.Does anyone have this problem? Thanks,James

Hi James,I was not able to duplicate this. Can you verify that your export file IS being updated, and that the metar reports contained therein are accurate? In orderwords, is the problem FSFlightMax's representation of the exported weather, or the exported weather?
