February 16, 200323 yr Hi there, I have been trying desperately to get this program activesky v1.5,freeware version, to run with no success.I used the auto set up function with the file to install the program, after minimizing my simulator, with all weather cleared, I go to either my desktop or my start menu and start the program... a window pops up saying "error reading icao.txt or fswinds.txt-make sure they exist or are valid"these files are included in the program, but for some reason they are having problems. If someone can please help me to get this program running. Also, how do I get rid of the band of blue sky between the ground and the clouds when the weather is set for over cast conditions. This band of blue is all around on the horizon and does not look very realistic at all.Thank you in advance.
February 17, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi,You had an install error it seems... Try reinstalling make sure all the files end up in the proper activesky installation folder... if you run setup this should all happen automatically - just use the defaults and make sure you run the program via start, programs, activesky... Let me kow if that works.
