Upper Winds Holding to Ground

Featured Replies

I just reloaded AS wxRE 1.15 and seem to be having a bit of a problem. On most of my flights now, FS doesn't seem to be "getting the word" at the destination aerodrome for the wx listed there. Two examples are: 1) Flight from Ft. Yukon, Alaska to Anchorage, the wx was called as BKN005 SCT140 and winds of 02005. Instead I had 20,000 SCT and fairly strong winds out of the northwest. 2) Flight from Anchorage to Bettles. Instead of the winds being 29005 at Bettles (as was given in the report), I had 315 at 15, which is what I had at altitude. Those winds seemed to follow me all the way down, and I never got the correct winds at field level (FL was 643 ft). Any thoughts or suggestions? The wx seems to be updating ok in wxRE, but it's not being received at FS2002.Thanks!Glenn

Thanks Damian,All clear until you got to the Real Time issue! That one I do have. Things were ok tonight, so I'll adopt a wait and see. If it happens again, I'll uninstall Real Time and see if that works. Thanks much!Glenn
