March 13, 200323 yr Hello,I'm realy sorry to say, but version 1.6 is still having stutters in FS when AS is updating the Weather?Thxvortovor
March 13, 200323 yr Vortovor,Some Beta Team members found that running AS minimized to the task bar helped with this. We(Damian and the Team)tried all weekend to isolate the cause for this stuttering and came up pretty much empty. I know this doesn't help you but we are going to keep on trying!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support
March 14, 200323 yr Thank you for the response. I wish you and the AS Team good luck with adressing this anoying bug.For now I will get it from my second monitor and keep it in background on the task bar....hiope this helps a little?I will report back my finding.suc6vortovor

March 14, 200323 yr Hello again,Maby its possible (only for the time being) to make an option in ActiveSky witch stop the WX update aprox. +/- 12nm from arrival station, and start the WX update outbound 12nm from departing station after setting one's the local METAR of course!? p.s. NM's manual adjustable would be the best. Thanks again, vortovor
March 14, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi,You can do this by using "disable all updates when forced" option.. and you can set your force range too... Just make sure you are using FORCE properly with a correct METAR ID and it should work great!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
