Well, after hours of trying to get the new winds aloft feature and FS Flight Max cycle files download to work with version 1.6, frustration has now taken over and I will be going back to Active Sky Wxre version 1.15.Prior to upgrading (via a clean install of version 1.6) everything was working just fine with Active Sky Wxre version 1.15. All the metar information, winds aloft, and FS Flight Max cycle files downloaded just fine. With version 1.6, the winds aloft only download 10 % of the time. Most of the time I get the time-out error message (will try next interval) and then NO cycle files download for FS Flightmax.So until something is done to fix these issues, its back to version 1.15 for me. Hopefully these issues will be taken care of in the next version update.Scott :-(

Hi Michael.I live in Colorado Springs and here is a screen shot of the weather that we are getting today, via ActiveSky version 1.15. Unfortunately, no such luck with version 1.6.ScottThe echos are showing snow in FS Flightmax.

Scott,Sorry you are having troubles with 1.6."Until something is done to fix these issues".. well I'm going on about 48 hours straight without sleep now! Unfortunately our only winds source is having problems for the past 3-4 days. I sure didn't anticipate this.. it was working GREAT during the beta and decided to go bad about 48 hours after 1.6 release.Again, sorry you are having problems, and believe me, everything possible is being done to correct this. Thanks Damian.I'm not complaining. I realize there are always issues with updates. I love Active Sky and will continue to use it. I will however wait until the next update to see if the issue with the winds download changes. For me version 1.6 just doesn't get past the metar download for the destination and then nothing happens.Until then, I will have to be content with the 1.15 version since it works for me and thus far, always completes the winds and FS Flight Max cycle files download.Anyways, hang in there, I know your working hard on the problem and it is appreciated.Scott :-)A loyal user of Active Sky!P.S.
