April 4, 200323 yr During a 7 hour flight I flew through many aloft stations and the wind never changed form 327 degrees at 61 kts at FL350. Average winds for the trip should have been around 280 at 15 to 20 kts. Been having this problem for about a week and can't seem to figure out how to fix it. If anyone knows how to solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
April 4, 200323 yr Speedbird,Sorry you are having trouble. Are you running online or offline? Also, please update to V1.7 and take some flights. Keep us up to date, as this is the first I have heard of this problem.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support
April 4, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi,Do you use ADVDISP? If so, try disabling it, this has been known to sometimes cause communication lockups (stopping all weather changes). Some have fixed this occurance by re-loading the aircraft (attributed to an FS2002 wind cache problem, affecting winds only). Hope that helps..-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
April 4, 200323 yr I am running version 1.7 without ADVDISP but I will try to reload the aircraft and see if it reloads.
April 4, 200323 yr I am running online winds aloft and I even tried uninstalling AcitveSky Wxre and reinstalling it but still get the winds from 327@61kts.
April 5, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi, how about a screen shot? This will help see what is happening here. Are you sure you are within 500nm of those stations (otherwise winds simulation will take over)?-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
