I want to delete all previous downloaded metar files...

Featured Replies

before installing 1.7 because they won't work anyway. Do I delete all taf....taf, cycle....wxd, metar....met, and winds....fd files from my ActiveSky folder? What about the ones with the def prefix. OR should I just delete v1.6 completely and install 1.7?Thank you, Adam

>You can delete these files: >>*.wxd >*.met >*.taf >*.fd >*.wmo Damian:I installed version 1.7 over RC3 and it seems to work fine. Do we NEED to delete the files above and then create the first D/Load file set?Ron McLeod CYEG

Hi Ron,That's a negative, you don't need to delete them but if you are going to use offline mode you will need to create a new cycle set. -Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table
