April 6, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi,ESNN is not in the database wmo.txt file. Sometimes this will happen with new stations or stations that were previously reporting old or invalid data. (The actual download does not check the validity of the information received, it just requires that stations read are contained in wmo.txt). You can add the station to wmo.txt, the WMO ID is the second value on the 1 line (precede with 0 for 4 digit ones, to make it 5 digits). 02365 in this case. Just see the existing wmo.txt for format.Make sure this station's info is current and accurate. Some stations may be shut down or reporting data over several weeks old. You can try adding the station, running wxRE, then examining the FS winds with actual reports to determine suitability. Hope that helps!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
April 6, 200323 yr Ollie,Sorry you are having trouble. Some ideas for you. Position yourself at ESNN. Make sure you are running V1.7. Switch to online mode, make sure your time zone correction value is correct(especially if you are under daylight savings time), and download a new set of weather files. Then see if the WMO ID reads 02365. Then switch to offline mode and see what happens.I went online and offline and got the proper data, so I can say there is no bug.For a re-try the only option now is the Refresh button. I know it refreshes everything. I too found the winds aloft server to be kind of unreliable today. If this doesn't do it please let us know.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support
April 13, 200323 yr HiIt seems that I am getting the wrong station for the winds aloft. As you can see on the attached picture I am standing on the airport ESNN and wxRE is giving me the correct METAR. But the winds aloft are from a station 388 nm away, in spite that I have a valid report from ESNN (see the part of the wmo-file in use). Whats wrong here?/ollepsI am also getting "Error or Time out downloading cycle" in about 4 out 5 requests for winds. Is it possible to have a retry-button for the winds?ds
