Wind Suppresion Question

Featured Replies

Hello. I am having a problem with Activesky 1.7 with FS2002 and FSNAV regarding the wind conditions. Activesky is showing winds on the ground and aloft, but my FSNAV and cockpit indicators always show the wind at 1 or mostly 0 knots, even in the sky!! I have set up FSUIPC as the instructions in wxre stated and have even tweked them to not supress any winds. Is this problem a FSNAV (or FS2002 setting) issue or Activesky? One thing I noted was if i change a setting in FSUIPC (any setting, not just wind related) the wind reading on FSNAV will be, for example 260 at 5 knots. Then the wind speed will drop to 1 or 0 knots in a few seconds, even though Activesky is showing the winds to be at 9 knots or something. Please advise if anyone is also having this problem. I think I've had it since i updated to Activesky version 1.7.Thanks for your help. Activesky is a great product!regards,Gary Price

Hi, check your FSUIPC taxi wind control feature.. turn this off or change its settings. I think this is the problem.
