April 27, 200323 yr I have a couple of problems with ActiveSky Flight Watch 122.0. Can these be corrected?-Sometimes Flight Watch gives the altimeter setting in QNH(?) instead of inches of mercury. These are for stations within the USA.--Flight Watch sometimes gives information that conflicts with the local ATIS/ASOS.I have also noticed that I am frequently given wrong runway assignments when taking off or landing VFR, resulting in a tailwind. This usually happens when winds are low. I don't recall this problem happening before I installed ActiveSkyWXThanks for any helpRay
April 29, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Ray,Which stations / which reports did you experience wrong qnh/ins readout? Please help me duplicate..Same with the conflict... I need more information. You are aware that slight differences ARE intentional, correct? Please let me see which report you are getting and let me know what the readout says.Wrong runway assignments during takeoff... hmmm, only reason would be the winds haven't switched yet (give it some time to settle before getting taxi clearance). For landing, usually people forget to enter the destination/custom ID and check the FORCE box. This is required to set your winds to landing at the proper point. Let me know if that helps, and let me know the above info so I can help you with that.. thanks!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
