Weather not matching!!

Featured Replies

Hi again,I am having problems with the ActiveSKY weather not matching the Atis report from the airport with the Metar report. Any help on this issue? Also, yesterday I flew from LOWI to EGCC and the Metar had a report of overcast sky, ceiling of 4000' with visibility of 10nm in rain. After I landed and proceeded to the taxiway all of the sudden the weather change to a clear blue sky and unlimited visibility????Why is this happening? This action of drastic change in weather is happening quite often with me.I use Online mode and I am always connected to the internet via DSL line.ThanksJT

Hello JT,What is the wx report you are getting and the conditions you see? Are you giving sufficient time for the dynamic transitions to occur? Do you have any conflicting FSUIPC settings (check to make sure all as recommended)? Do you use SB? If so do you have real wx turned off here (required)? Please share more info and I will help. A screenshot of any inconsistencies is also helpful, including the main and status screens of wxRE. Remember to give the transition engine time to change conditions.-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...
[/table
