May 1, 200323 yr I am now getting a message"error or time out downloading cycle" usually when downloading winds. I have no trouble downloading aircraft etc from other sites. This has happened since I upgraded to the latest version of Activesky. Any help gratefully received to cure the problem.
May 1, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Tony,Have you tried "low bandwidth winds" option? This should help if you have a slower connection, as these downloads can be quite large. RC4 v1.8 at the top of this forum is also improved in this regard.. if you don't have it already you should download and give it a try. Let me know if that does the trick!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
May 2, 200323 yr hi damianthanks for the suggestion. I am using V1.8. Where do I find the bandwidth option? This latest version downloads yesterdays, todays and future winds, why is this?
May 2, 200323 yr Commercial Member Because you don't have the option enabled... It's in the options screen..-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
