Download time

Featured Replies

I've had problems with 1.86 involving very long download times to get the weather. What's funny is that when I fill out the destination airport box, that airport loads immediately, however the airport I am sitting at takes forever. What gives?

It's typically not the airport METAR but the winds aloft data that takes the most time.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

Why doesn't the program load the metars first, then tryto get the upper winds? Yesterday the metars on my flightnever were received (45 minute flight)

It does load your active METAR first.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

Hi,The METAR does load first but you won't see it until the winds aloft changes and the entire display updates. Have you tried low-bandwidth winds aloft? This could help alot.
