July 30, 200322 yr Hi, I've been using ActiveSky wxRE for quite a while with FS2002. I love it. I just got the update for FS2004 and got it going. One big question comes to mind though in my limited use so far...does it utilize FS2004's weather engine to the extent that it creates weather areas?Example - if I'm flying out of KSFO with foggy weather and fly into a weather area that is reporting clear, will I still be able to look back and see the fog in KSFO as FS2004 allows using the default weather engine? Or is AS wxRE's weather engine affecting the global weather? Cheers, Mike
July 30, 200322 yr Commercial Member Hi Mike,It's GLOBAL weather and does not use weather areas, which is the one drawback with FS2002-based add-ons. Look for full fs2k4 weather area integration in ActiveSky2 (under development)...-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
