I have tried to use the free ActiveSky 1.5 version but it does not seem to work properly. Hi there,AS2002 is no longer supported - NOAA has made recent format changes which prevent it from working, and the source code (for changes) is no longer available.wxRE is nothing like AS2002... For about 1 year all new development has occured on wxRE so it is quite a bit more sophisticated... I am hoping to provide a freeware trial version of ActiveSky2 (the next version) for evaluation purposes. You may wish to check out the review here at AVSIM or ask some folks for their opinion - which may help your buying decision.
