Radar Flight Plan Import

Featured Replies

Hi,I have tried to import my flight plans into the weather radar but they show blank. Well FSBuild ones do anyway, even saved as fs 2004 plans, which i use for atc.Any tips on getting this working, i use fsbuild for everything, atc, fmc, fuel planning ,etcRegards,Darren

Hi Damian,I am also having problems getting my plan to show up in the radar gauge.I have fsuipc set to Minimal weather defaults. Registered copy of fsuipc.I started FS2004 and used fsnavigator to build a simple plan, CYQR,VLN,YXE,CYQR. I saved it, and exported the plan as an FS2004.PLN. I am sitting at CYQRI then started AS2004 and used the new route button to get my plan. I then proccessed the plan. Checked the navlog then cosed the window. At this point I also tried to hit the refresh buttonI then open the radar gauge and start it up. I then go to the modes, planning,MSFS, then press the update all button. But nothing shows up as far as a plan. I tried entering the plan in manualy, the CYQR would show up as an airport but when I tried to enter my next VOR (VLN) and searched , nothing would show up.Can anybody figure out where I went wrongThanksVincent

Hi this is documented in the readme.txt...FSNavigator plans due not conform to exact FS9 standards, and this causes problems with the radar import. The solution is to load the plan in FS9 (which has no problem) and then save it again. The radar will now accept it. I am working on ways to handle the non-standard information...Does this help?Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpg
