December 20, 200322 yr FSUIPC 3.135 and some earlier versions have an Auto Weather Clear option that I believe is activated when an external program (i.e. AS2004) is refreshed. Is it necessary to discreetly on loading a flight go into FSUIPC's panel and manually clear the weather as decribed in the AS2004 docs? I seem to be getting good results with the FSUIPC (fulll registration) Autoweather Clear option. Here's the FSUIPC log for my second AS2004 test flight - KMSP to KDLH - in freezing drizzle, mist, etc., from a downloaded archive of 12/12/2003 (highlights ">>>>" mine):********* FSUIPC, Version 3.135 by Pete Dowson *********User Name="Ron Ginsberg"User Addr="[email protected]"FSUIPC Key is providedWIDEFS not user registered, or expiredModule base=61000000ClassOptions: UIPCMAIN=FF7F, FS98MAIN=FF7F, FS2KMAIN=FF5EWeatherOptions(Orig)=600C370B[600C370B]InitDelay: 0 secondsWeatherReadInterval=16DebugStatus=15 13932 System time = 23:00:14 13933 H:PROGRAM FILESMICROSOFT GAMESFLIGHT SIMULATOR 9 13934 System time = 23:00:14, FS2004 time = 12:00:00 (00:00Z) 36275 FLIGHTSOTHERFLTSIM.flt 36419 AIRCRAFTc172Cessna172SP.air 58813 Client Application: "AS2004" (Id=-192903) 58813 H:AS2004MODULESACTIVESKY2004AS2004.EXE 58820 Product="ActiveSky2004" 58820 Company="HiFi Simulation Software" 239316 C:My DocumentsFlight Simulator Fileskmsp s340b-ffg day fair parked.flt 239750 AIRCRAFTFFG_Saab340_Northwest Airlinkffgsaab340_v13.air >>>>244093 Clear All Weather requested: external weather discarded >>>>250243 Advanced Weather Interface Enabled 291845 Traffic File #14 = "sceneryworldscenerytraffic" 6737960 C:My DocumentsFlight Simulator Fileskdlh s340b-ffg day - terminal - parked.flt >>>>6740032 Clear All Weather requested: external weather discarded 6760350 System time = 00:52:39, FS2004 time = 14:24:06 (20:24Z) 6760350 *** FSUIPC log file being closedMemory managed: 1956 Allocs, 152492 Freed********* FSUIPC Log file closed ****Apparently the default unused flight loads with the menu display even though I never activated it going directly to selected flights.
