Hi Damian,Thanks for the update! Just out of interest - what happens if you have both WC2 and wxRE? I already purchased AS2004 and got my discount for having wxRE. I do have WC2 as well. OK, I know I'm opening a can of worms, but:) I have both Active Sky and Weather Center. I downloaded the emetrix update for AS2004. This requires the old Active Sky installation. This is a pain. The WC upgrade will give me the full AS2004 I believe. Is there a way to get this upgrade since I already purchased the emetrix upgrade...Wow, that's a mouth full! :)

George,Not sure if I understand your question, but I'll give it a shot. There is no upgrade TO either wxRE or WC, just a price break for either or both groups of users. Either way you are getting a full version of AS 2004.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

Hey Jim,Figured my first post was kind of hard to understand:)Had WXre, purchased AS2004 at the discounted price for current users.I had the emetrix purchase version of wxre, so AS2004 requires a current install of wxre to validate. Did so and enjoying AS2004.I also have WC. It is not an emetrix download so it will allow a full, new version of AS2004 which doesn't require wxre to be installed. Much less headache:) Just wondering if there is a way to get the full AS2004 install sinced I have also a purchased version of WC (without having to pay 19.95 again)Thanks

Jim,Thanks for the advice. I installed AS2004 the day it was released on a seperate PC via WideFS. Everything ran as expected. I still have WC2 and wxRE on different PC's - guess I'll get rid of them both now.I never seem to have problems - lucky I guess ;-)Thanks!Rich.

I'm going to give this one more shot.The emetrix AS2004 download requires wxre to be installed for verification before AS2004 will install.If the Simmarket version of wxre or WC2 were purchased, the AS2004 program doesn't need wxre installed for verification.I have purchased both the emetrix version of wxre and the Simmarket version of WC2.I purchased AS2004 for discount version of AS2004 the night it was released. It requires wxre to be installed for verification.You have now offered the discount price for WC2 owners. I am one. It does not require a previous version installed.Is there a way for me to get the WC2 (does not need wxre verifiction) version of AS2004 (I have WC2) without repurchasing the AS2004.Lord, I hope this is clear:)

George,I do understand now.You own both wxRE and WC. You purchased the wxRE version which needs weRE.exe to be installed on your system. Now there is a WC version which does not need any verification procedure.
