December 30, 200322 yr Damian,We all know you're working hard, but is there any chance to get those two issues fixed in the upcoming patch? sometimes small things make big difference ;)1. FlightWatch converts mBar pressure (Qxxxx) to inHg and reads it this way. Hits realism pretty badly when flying in Europe, and you always need to have inHg<->mBar convertion table at hand. It was fine in wxRE.2. A lot of missing station IDs in wx_station_list.txt. As it was also fine in wxRE (icao.txt), will simple file-conversion+merge tool do the job?And some anticipation...After reading some of your explanations on the forum about how new FS weather system works, i imagine how many workarounds AS2 needs to make things smooth. As realism is a major concern for me, after enabling:- Route-based Wind Smoothing- Extended Destination Wind Force- Use Update Suppression (10000ft)- Use Local Range Suppression (50 nm)- Global Area Writes (disabled)...i start asking myself how real is real now? Are winds generated this way at least similiar to current real-world reports? Do you think it will be possible - let's say in the next 6 months - to develop such FS9 "weather cheating system", so we can for example cross Atlantic using real-world aloft maps and get wind smoothing at the same time? that's one of the things that don't make me sleep.Despite all those more or less critical bugs AS2 have at this time, i'm really impressed by the work you've done. I believe time will improve things further :]Oh, and by the way, what's the use of second METEO station in Departure/Destination fields in navlog? they seem to be randomly choosen at the time of f/p processing and are always far away from real departure/destination (i mean there are closer stations available).
