Here are some screenshots of some of my problems. It just so happened that this flight the problems were not as drastic, but they are still there. I took Damian's advice and things seemed to improve slightly. I also deleted my FSUIPC.INI file as someone suggested...not sure why though......anyway the screenshots labeled PDXect..are departing from KPDX. Conditions were supposed to be no clouds until overcast at 24900-26900ft. The LASect shots are on arrival at KLAS. I took them immediately after I noticed differences in visibility or clouds. This was not nearly as bad as I expereinced in SEA yesterday, but the visibility dropped a little. Online METAR was saying winds were 200/4, yet FS and ATIS were saying 067/3. My wx Report in AS2004 said 200/4 preflight. Things seem to be improving a little though. I want to say thanks for all the help and sooner or later we'll get this thing like it should be!!Brad

The last one is a LAS photo, but I cant post anymore shots. The first few are PDX

Hi Brad,Thanks for the pics..Again, I don't see any problem here..."Conditions were supposed to be no clouds until overcast at 24900-26900ft. "How do you figure? KPDX looks about like high cirrus at ovc250 to me! Are you expecting the KPDX weather to be transfered to the entire departure area of your flight? This is not how station-based weather works... KPDX reported weather will ONLY be depicted within 2nm around KPDX. Does that make sense? In either case I don't see the METAR report or main status screens to compare this anyhow. We would need you to be DIRECTLY OVER a reporting station with a screenshot of FS AND AS2004 main screen to make a determination of wx consistency.Remember, with station-based weather, the station's report is only valid within 2nm of that station. Elsewhere, it is left up to AS2004 interpolation, FS2004 interpolation and global wx settings (which are set based on the closest airport at time of update, usually your departure).Believe it or not, this is much more realistic than a GLOBAL ONLY weather environment, which I think you are expecting for some reason! Notice how you can actually see the weather in the distance? This is the big improvement with FS2004 and station-based weather. You can fly into that weather now too... Funny thing is, you mention that the weather is changing rapidly, yet from your screenshots it looks like smooth as can be, you are flying into areas of different wx. So I am not sure we are on the same page here... Maybe I am missing something entirely?-Damian
