January 13, 200422 yr Is this altitude given as MSL or AGL? I like to fly GA quite a bit. Becuase of this, I'd rather not have wx updates limited at all by altitude - is there any reason *not* to disable this feature (I noticed it was recommended as being checked).J
January 13, 200422 yr Then just uncheck it to OFF. You may get weather changes at your destination.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support
January 13, 200422 yr Commercial Member Hi,To add to this, its AGL based on the closest METAR station elevation. Nothing wrong with turning it off. The only thing is you may get an update to commence automatically while you are taking off or landing which might cause some frame hits.Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpg Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
