January 14, 200422 yr I read all ActiveSky instructions. It's well done and all the functions are given in a clear manner. Thanks! But I have about one hour a day for my favorite hobby. And very often I am forced to use x 8 or x 16 simulation speed. Or just to take off - move the aircraft through FS Navigator somewhere 150 miles from an arrival airport - and then to descend and land (happily:)).Could you please give me instruction how AS should be managed in such circumstances.I believe there are a lot of folks out there who needs this advice. Thanks,
January 14, 200422 yr Commercial Member Hi,Well, AS2004 is not designed for higher-than-normal sim rates.. It will work ok, but you cannot expect consistent weather throughout. What I recommend is when using warp, turn off both suppression options, set update interval to 10 minutes, and force a REFRESH in AS2004 when you slow to normal and prepare for your approach.Hope that helps!Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpg Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
