Voice ATIS and dual-audio HW...

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I purchased my AS2004 few days ago and so far been very pleased with it, especially weather radar is a very nice feature. I was going for FSMeteo, but since I've used AS 1.5 free version with fs2002 long time I decided to give the guys a credit ;) Anyway, since I fly all my flights at VATSIM and I have dual-HW for audio I have one question (or more like RFE, request for enhancement). Is it possible to select what HW is used for Voice ATIS (which I like very very much)? Now my voice-ATis goes to main speakers, which is not good, when you have you headphones and mic on...I'm pretty sure AS2004 uses default audio device, which is the same as what FS2004 is using -> no joy. Any comments? BR, Jarips. You still have "ActiveSky2004 is nearing release!!!" on support-page of www.hifisim.com...;)

I have two sound boards installed as well for the same purpose, and would also greatly appreciate if it were possible to select the audio device for playback of the ATIS messages! It would save having to turn off the sound in FS2004 whilst listening to the ATIS ;)Greetings,Zoltan Hegedus

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion.. sounds like a good idea, but I am not sure how difficult this would be. Please e-mail me, I could send you a special test version...Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpg
