Winds problem

Featured Replies

Hi. I am a new AS user, and I am having a new problem: I am importing flightplans, but my navlog shows all the waypoints data to be the same. Wind direction is 225, speed 0, and temp is -273.0 I am using most of the defaults, and I have FSUIPC set to minimum weather defaults. The weather at my starting point seems to be working. Using newest version of ActiveSky.I tried a few flightplans, but the one I am trying is CYYZ to KSFO. Can anyone figure out what I am going wrong? Everything seemed to be working fine last night. (I did this exact flight and the weather and navlog were correct). //AS2004 configuration file[General]WindowPosX = 5730WindowPosY = 6030DefaultWeatherFolder = C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9ModulesActiveSky2004SuppressionCeiling = 2000SurfaceWindLimit = 10CloudLayerLimit = 5LocalSuppressionRange = 100MinimumVisibility = 0MaximumVisibility = 50IncreasedWake = FalseDisableWindsAloft = FalseForceDestinationWeatherZone = FalsePreventIcing = TrueOnlineUpdates = TrueExtendedDestinationWindsForce = FalseGlobalWrites = TrueVoicePlayback = TrueLocalSuppression = TrueStartupSound = TrueUseProxyServer = FalseFogLayerGeneration = TrueUpdateSuppression = TrueOvercastEnhancement = TrueRouteWindSmoothing = TrueLimitSurfaceWinds = FalseLimitCloudLayers = TrueAutoGlobalWriteToggle = FalseCCWindsFix = TrueDisableUpperLayerGeneration = FalseVisibilitySmoothing = TrueDisableMessages = FalseAutoTimeZoneDetection = TrueUpdateInterval = 10VATSIMData = FalseZuluConversion = -5TAFProcessing = FalseEnforceVisibilityLimits = TrueWakeTurb = TrueStartPaused = FalseUseSystemTime = TrueDisableCAVOKClouds = FalseProxyAddress = NONE

Hi Craig,What are you using to write your flight plans?JimActiveSky Support

The problem is gone now. I think it must have been bad data (as you mentioned in the other threads). It seems that every download I got starting at about 2:00pm Eastern until just recently had this problem.
