Network Maintenance/Upgrades through 03/06/04

Hi everyone,Several US domestic/International organizations and weather sources (including some of those that we use for wxRE - and one used for HiFi DataNet data collection) are undergoing some maintenance and upgrades at the moment. In addition, one of our HiFi DataNet network backbone providers is undergoing a network upgrade which may temporarily effect network access through 03/06/04. "Spring Cleaning" time! We have also taken in upon ourselves to upgrade the HiFi DataNet system. We are welcoming the upgrades and expect to be able to further enhance the data collection and delivery process as a result of this. Thank you for your patience!We anticipate any outages or data issues during the next few days to be very temporary and should not greatly effect usage, but we have already received some small isolated reports of occasional data completeness problems (as of this writing this has all cleared up).So this is just a heads up that there may a few problems through this week but rest assured we are babysitting things and will do everything we can to keep things online. We are also taking the opportunity to simultaneously upgrade the server source connection handling code - to more intelligently handle these temporary situations as they arise and make such future situations as transparent as possible.
