MR1rc1 - Best flight ever!

Featured Replies

Hi all, before i leave to toronto/canada this weekend (got the chance to get a jumpseat flight with the aircraft crew (and business class!) in the A340 and beside, i'm able to visit my friend, which i didn't see since 1992...), i would just like to report and summarize my findings with the latest release: installation was pretty forward, uninstalled previous beta versions (including radar) and installed the latest one - settings: normal defaults.did a flight from LOWW to EGLL - fired up AS2004 and FS2004 - had a very quick connection to the weather server - no problems at all with flight processing, fetching and writing - everything was setup within minutes! during the whole flight, there were NO wind shifts and NOT a single cloud pop up! since i own FS2004, i can not remember, that i ever saw this before! clouds were forming up slowly and dissappearing slowy - over the english channel i had a solid overcast cloud layer (which i saw forming up in the distance!) and visibilty gradually went down according to the metar. i had some small turbulences during the approach (sudden wind shifts). this was, and really, my best flight ever with FS2004!I would like to express my deepest respect to Damian and Jim (and everyone, who is working behind the AS2004 scene!) for that great program and for their never ending support! I hope, all other users will find a solution for the problems, which were reported.for my part, i'm a very happy as2004 user!thank you! cheers,harald/loww

Thank you very much for your support and I hope you have a safe trip.JimActiveSky Support
